The only season Wentz had a deep threat for most of the season was when we had Torrey Smith and he had an MVP season. It allowed Ertz to work the mid field and Nelson had less defensive attention. Its inexcusable the front office didn’t prioritize WR depth. No team has 0 injuries in the WR group so idk how they felt simply signing DJac was enough
 
Nelson was also doing all the gadget plays, jet sweeps and slot stuff that disappeared from our offense. Man I have some irrational hate for JJ too.

I love Wentz but the benefit of Foles was he wasn’t afraid to throw up 50/50 balls. Sure it led to an occasional interception but Wentz doesn’t do the jump ball passes often. JJ is a 50/50 jump ball guy. They knew drafting him he wasn’t a burner so why not throw some sideline jump balls? JJ is bigger than any corner that will ever cover him and If its not a deep ball there won’t be much safety help to force a pick
 
^ exactly.. no sproles.. plus everyone being kinda rigid with their roles allowed that.. neither back was a strong pass catcher.. Torrey was good on deep balls but didn’t have lateral quickness for other stuff.. alshon wasn’t a big YAC guy, neither ertz

no clue why we went away from it now.. even just to misdirect with miles

check the thread above..wentz has given guys chances, they’ve just let him down repeatedly this year

And that’s why he holds the ball sometimes. These guys are winning 50/50 balls and he doesn’t trust them to even make routine catches.

they’re missing the routine stuff.. they’re not making plays.. hell even in 50/50 situations dudes are losing

outside of agholor’s 4th down catch at the end of Atlanta after his big drop, not sure what play stands out as a WR making a play this year
 
Seahawks game is a must win. 6-5 puts us in position to win out against the weaker teams we play and if the team can step up and beat Dallas in Philly that’s 11-5 which should be enough for the division. However, 5-6 pretty much eliminates us because Dallas probably not losing 2 before they play us

They got LAR, Min, NE. Those 3 they can easily lose all things considered

Rams are pretty weak at the moment. The defense is improving but Gurley isn’t the same and defenses realized Goff loves Kupp and cover him all game and let Goff try to beat them elsewhere.

they played Minnesota already. Outside of the Pats and Rams their only above .500 game before us is the Bills who we beat fairly easily. They lose to the Pats then we hope that the Rams step up and beat them.

How JJ still get only 19 snaps and Jmatt off the steet got like 66. What does he have to do to be on the field dam
