There are actually things called prayer circles where you can ask that they pray for you or a loved one and they do. Have you ever stepped foot ina church? Churches will pray for members of their congregation that may need it. These things exist and whether you believe in a God or not, numerous studieshave shown prayer does help and if for nothing else serves as a form of meditation.
Either way stop with the trolling. This is neither the place nor the time.
OP try to remain positive and a pillar of strength for your mom. The more she sees you calm the less stress she will feel. My mother survived brain cancertwice. Her positive attitude, prayer, and her willingness to go through the rehabilitation process allowed her to see herself through it even when doctors hadgiven up.

Yeah, I know that I used to believe in this stuff. Don't question me do you even know how an Atheist is born(U.S.)? Two hands do much morethan a thousand hands clasped in prayer. Studies shown landslide results. The only advice I can give OP is don't give up hope.
