lets get a side profile night shot!
i tried but it turned out crappy because the wheels aren't in focus.   i also tried to write 'Evo 8' above the car with a flashlight and i actually got that to work pretty good but the wheels being out of focus ruined it

selling mercedes benz in silicon valley is no joke if you have an established clientele. we are low staffed and have about 14 sales people. we average around 130-150 new cars a month and about 80-100 cars pre-owned. we have a couple people (not me) selling around 20-25 a month making a consistent 25-30k a month. the rest of us are around the 6-15k mark selling around 12-18 cars.
Oh yeah out there making 100k don't mean ****

One of the best parts about NC is that low cost of living

Is there any way for you to move up in the company?

here's a different picture with different/brighter lighting. you like this one or the first one better?

on a diff note. Sold my 14 civic ex today.. Probably gonna grab a White Sport for the wifey to commute her 9miles a day LMAO....she loved the civic but to me the accord is just a nicer car.

I am convinced my next purchase will be a porsche GTS or GT4

That's for sure!

Still need to get the front holds patched up and a clear bra. Already got some tiny rock chips on the bumper. :smh: GT4 or GTS would be nice though.

dam rip those were pretty unique

Stealership? How so? It's a business. You make money on some deals.. you lose on others. People think people who in the business are crooks.. yet they know nothing on how it works. Smh.
QFT. The only people that get got are the ones who don't do research before buying a car.

Lol damn, I'm in the wrong career. Honestly didn't think dealers made that much money.
Nah you're a nurse right? Those numbers he is throwing out is like the top 1% in the country for what salesmen make. Like I said earlier there's a lot of guys out there struggling and trying to live off their draw.

I still find it hard to believe a salesman is making $2k every time he sells a car, but its in the one of the most expensive parts of CA so its possible.

a vehicle that not only takes you from destination to destination, but can save your friends and families life with some of the most advanced technology ever made, is comfortable, has the ability to entertain you with various methods of music and all you have to do is.. put some fuel in it?

check how much your favorite pair of shoes actually cost to make, and see who 's really stealing lol

pay is scaled. 0-10 cars you make 12% of the total profit, 12 cars you make 14%, etc. all the way up to 20 cars, you hit a cap of 28%.

28% of a car with 12k gross, youre making about 4 grand off 1 car. but thats assuming you have 20 units. I hover around the 14 unit mark which is 18%. plus I give all my cars out like its christmas..

Always thought about getting into sales at the dealership

Not sure what's required? Schooling?

They do make a lot of money especially at high volume dealerships and you are very good with people

I'm not an advocate for selling cars, I hate it. It's a stupid way of making a living.

However, its not very hard, and can be very lucrative.

I wouldn't bother selling cars for mazda/toyota/honda etc. Those are HARD places to work and very stressful. Those are the top guys in the business!

No education needed, I would start by getting your foot in the door into the sales department. Apply as a delivery specialist. For Mercedes-Benz its called the Product Concierge. For BMW its called the BMW Genius, and Lexus has a position called a Lexpert, not sure what the Audi one is called.. but its all the same thing. You need to be great with technology, and always willing to learn how the vehicles work. They send you to tons of awesome classes where you meet the product trainers and even get to drive around cars on closed courses, to see what the safety features are designed to do and etc.

These people basically handle any customer concerns about navigation/bluetooth/garage door openers etc. and even sometimes they pick up customers from airports and things like that.. just pure customer service.

After you put in some time, some dealerships will promote within.

I hired my friend at my dealership, he was a delivery specialist for about 4-5 months, and is now a full fledged salesperson. He's a quick learner and doing great so far. First month he made about 5k, 2nd month about 7k.

Damn at our nissan dealer it was 30% no matter what.

It's a cutthroat business.

At our dealer.

25% on new gross ( with true car and all, it's no existent ) and on used vehicles it is 30%. We are not crazy busy but we eat. I never not seen anyone make their draw. It's very hard not to.. lol. If you don't make draw you still get paid your overtime hours.. so that still gives u an extra 1200-1500 over draw. My first month when I started at the bottom I made 8k. Outsold the guy training me lol. 4 months later I got promoted to internet. I was a steady 18-25car guy. Within 5 months I got promoted to finance. It took me 9 months to get a stable position that takes years in the business to accomplish. I love my job and everyone I work with. It's a process and unique structure with every department. Luckily we have a body shop, service, and everything in one location. Keep in mind that with having a body shop we get paid on claims that your insurance pays and that's huge. Every dept adds to the final number. Our service is booming and makes the numbers they need 2 make which is always a plus.

There's a lot of diff positions. Look into it

Man if I was on that pay scale Id be in trouble with how much money Id be making

I don't get this statement though, how can it be stupid if you're making good money? Not coming at you but I don't have a degree and I have a record and I'm making just as much as all my boys that have degrees from big 4 year schools.

I did not have it easy. I grew up with literally nothing and did not have the opportunity to go to College. It was on me to make something of myself. I currently don't have a degree but I still make A LOT more if you were to compare me to the homies that did go to school. Everyone too busy paying off their student loans..Ridiculous the amounts I see!!! People owing like 125k and making 5k a month..SMH..

Selling cars is NOT for everyone. For some it is easy, for others it is the most difficult thing. It still takes effort. more effort MORE chance at gross..Knowing the product goes a long way. The only downfall to the business for me is the hours. It all goes away when I get my check though lol. I rather be busy and well off instead of always free and broke. I know a lot of people who close to my age (29) and still trying to figure out what they want to do. I still wished I had the opportunity to go to school but everything worked out for me. :smokin:smokin
