What’s sport mode do in the 392?i walked my neighbor but he claims he never turned on sport mode
Sport Mode: [SP / SRT]
M6:
Throttle - increases response
Steering - user defined [comfort/normal/sport]
ESP - user defined [on/sport/off]
Active Exhaust System - matches increased throttle response

A8:
Trans- changes shift program (holds gear longer, faster up/down shift)
MDS - off
Steering - user defined [comfort/normal/sport]
ESP - user defined [on/sport/off]
AES - matches increased throttle response

SRT Track mode has some differences unique to SRT models
- ADS suspension settings [3 modes avail./user defined]
- AES valves are fully open

Your neighbors got an A8, Sport Mode could result in decreased mileage because MDS (multi-displacement) will be deactivated. You'll be running all 8 cylinders full time. On an M6, I can't imagine it would affect mileage much if at all. Here's something he can do to see the difference: cruise at a constant speed and don't move your foot on the gas pedal...so don't give it any more or less gas...then hit the sport button. The car will pick up speed. So it doesn't give you any more power...they just change the threshold so in regular mode 50% of the gas pedal swing may give you 50% engine power. In sport mode 50% gas pedal might give you 60% engine power. Makes you feel like the car has more power but the total power pot is still only 485. So your to-the-floor power can't change.

Tell em sport mode don't make him any faster & to hold that L :D

Some interior shots. Seats aren't OEM.

I LOVE the new Targa. Such an awesome design! Any chance you can post a few shots of your car? I never seen it if you had posted in the past. Thanks.

And definitely with the value. Porsche holds their value crazy right now. Especially if it's a GT3/RS. But older 996 Turbos with decent miles are actually fairly reasonable and that motor is basically bulletproof (no IMS issues). Would love one of those but my next & last (reasonable priced) toy I want is a Lotus Elise. Stupid reliable Toyota engine and minimal electronics. They are still in the $30K for a good example.

My ultimate dream is a 2005-2006 Ford GT. That is my dream. Driven them loads of times and they are just amazing!!
There’s tons of pics in here but here’s the most recent after a wash.

IM DEAD SERIOUS

so theres this spot in cali
200 acres for sale

thinking of buying and making a race track on it
theres other pieces of land
like 20 - 40 acres ($28-38k)
could do it there too
but what would yall think of REALLY coming together
as car guys
buying some land
then making a track???
:nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

what yall think

EDIT: im not even sure 200 acres is enough
