so if there is another price drop of 100 then wouldnt that make the 60gb and the 40gb the same price?? asumming they do it to all systems 80gig to $499 and 60gig to $399.

This question may have already been answered but, is it true that the new $399 40 gb PS3's will not be compatible with any ps1/2 games? Guy at work told me this, and I'm trying to get evidence to refute him with.

he's wrong ...the 80 gb will have a compatibility percentage of about 60-70% for PS1/PS2 game..while the 60 GB has a 90+ %..
