Question about Ice Blue X's

My roomate got a pair for xmas and we both noticed that the arm on the jordan in the back is fatter than all the other jordan arms on other shoes. Is that asign of a fake or was the X made with a fatter arm?
If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Searched all over but couldn't find an answer.
