As the title states, I might be moving to Baltimore (or Oakland) in May. I've never been there but from what I understand, it's relatively pleasantand affordable. I've been around NYC my whole life so I'm pretty much used to the prices around here. So...
1. I'm gonna need an apartment. Price range is anything under $1k. I wouldn't mind living with roommates but would prefer a 1 bedroom (or studio
). I understand that there are a decent number of loft type setups butI'm unsure of what kind of neighborhood they're located in. What neighborhoods are relatively safe (and which aren't)?
2. Things to do. Aside from tourist attractions, what can I do? Bars, lounges, etc.
