1 ITEM PER THREAD. 10 TOTAL ITEMS FOR SALE. WANTED LISTINGS COUNT TOWARD THE 10 ITEMS UNFORTUNATELY.
THIS ALLOWS FOR FULL USE OF THE FEEDBACK SYSTEM SINCE ITS HARD TO LEAVE FEEDBACK FOR A LISTING WITH MULTIPLE ITEMS.

For people that had their post counts reset, click here so staff can help you. Also, PM me you old yuku screen name URL so I can verify you were eligible and grant you buy/sell privileges

Notes:

The old buy/sell listings appear to have been migrated to random subforums throughout the site. please feel free to send me the link so that i can delete them from there. It seems like there was an issue with rules in the Classified section which did not allow Unclassified Threads (ie. Retro Threads) to be moved to the Classified section. The old niketalk threads were all Unclassified as there was no complexity with the listings.

Update on how to list. Please list 1 item per thread. We got the Open listing limit raised from 3 to 10 so all should be well now. This means that there can only be 10 total listings for a seller at once across all Classified sections. This rule is the same as before. It was just harder to enforce.


Rules may change/update as we, the NT staff, get a better understanding of what we have and all get on the same page.

this is no different than how the old buy/sell section worked. threads are moderated and need to be approved.

It shows the items you have for sale in your sig too?! Not sure I like that when I'm casually browsing the forums. I know members are gonna post just to post that they have something for sale in their sig. It's cool if it's in text form but there is a pic and direct link attached is too excessive imo. I'm on NT using my tablet most of the time so if I'm swiping around the screen to scroll up and down sometimes i'll tap a link by accident. eh it is what it is i guess.

I lost half my post...will take me weeks to post 150 times to be able to post in the marketplace...Any way around this? doesn't seem fair to have to post than many more times after I was already over 300 post and way beyond 3 months. ? Because I don;t post nonsense will take me forever to build my post count back.

On the Yuku version, I was up to 794 posts, and now I'm at 254 with the changeover.

So I can't post a B/S listing until I hit 300 again?!?

Something needs to be fixed somehow.

Yo, why can't I post in the buy/sell? I click "Create A New Classified" and then I login and it tells me that I am not able to "create a new classified" and proceeds to tell me to read the rules. Well, where are the rules? I was able to post on the old Niketalk and even had a thread goin in the 10.5-11 section. Now, I come to this new NT and suddenly i'm not allowed to post. This needs fixed. I'm not a happy camper.

Your post count is less than 300. As stated in the 1st comment, a lot of users lost data/posts in the migration. Thank yuku for locking the databases on us.

Underneath where you type in the description I see where it says "item photos... select photos"

trying the classified section out is the best way to find out. its pretty straight forward. there are a bunch of listings in the buy/sell area.

but no, i dont believe there is a preview anymore.

You should put in to the "Buy/Sell rules" that 1 classified per item..

Stupid when people put the price to 1$ and list more than 1 item.

looks like the thread has already been deleted.

try creating it in the correct section and wait for a moderator to approve your listing. please remember that we all have regular jobs also and update threads as we can.

Edit: ok i just tried to make a new post but i couldn't because it says i have three listings open.

i go to my page and it says i only have two listings open,the third one is no where to be found.

^^ try again. the system is a little weird but even tho it was deleted, it wasnt locked. i locked it so hopefully it will allow you to create a new listing.

So we should put all of our items for sale into one thread (Max of 10)? So should the price on the thread be a grand total of all of the shoes in the thread? Or should we make multiple posts, each one for each pair being sold and individually price them?

Why is there an option to submit another classified when the rules state we can only have one listing per forum at a time? It seems like this system is set up in order to do one pair per listing and we are forcing it to use our old rules.

Is there a reason that I cannot post a reply to actual buying and selling threads? Another question I had, is the reputation system going to act somewhat like Feedback on EBay? Is it going to be a factor in B/S, like when a transaction goes bad , the user is given bad rep?
