R.I.P. Lou Reed (Appreciation Thread)

The legendary Lou Reed passed away today. One of my favorite rock artists, especially writer, ever. The Velvet Underground were an incredible group and he had some great solo work too. I will be playing Transformer today all day in tribute. I know we mostly talk about rap and r&b on NT but I'm sure there are some other fans of Lou, he was responsible for so much great music. Appreciate

I posted in the indie thread. Very sad day. The Velvet Underground & Lou Reed were massively influential. From the likes of U2, REM, Roxy Music, David Bowie, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, The Talking Heads, & pretty much every indie band today.
