IMO it’s between him and RZA

Dre and RZA are my 2 favorites too, but it's hard to just pick one. Premo is up there too. Pete Rock, Ye's got a case for himself though I wouldn't put him there.
Dre's peak is too damn good though.

Both great but Stll Dre beat > Xxplosive.

Stll Dre is hypnotizing and the video, every time I hear that beat I just picture big tiddie/booty girls everywhere in 80 degree weather. Flexin anthem.

I remember BET and the radio would play this so much that the beat actually got annoying to me. I do get the nostalgic feeling it gives.

Fresh carried all the production at the CMR peak and rarely sampled if he did at all. Dre allegedly had ghost producers and a lot of people confuse his earlier work for Daz’s. Not trying to hate on Dre, I just feel like Fresh is up there.
