Ring Of Honor has issued the following announcement Monday with details on the company's next live Internet PPV broadcast:

Ring of Honor is excited to announce that we have finalized the date and location for our next iPPV broadcast. It will take place on February 26, 2011, in Chicago Ridge, IL and it will be ROH's "9th Anniversary Show"!!!

Three bouts are already set for this GoFightLive broadcast, with both the ROH World Title & the ROH World Tag Titles scheduled to be on the line, and plenty more matches to come. Here's a quick look at the three matches set for 2/26/11

"The Notorious 187" Homicide will challenge for the ROH World Title bout against whoever holds the belt when we return to Chicago Ridge. Homicide has torn through Ring of Honor since returning in September, and is undefeated against the likes of ROH World TV Champion Christopher Daniels, Jay Briscoe, Kevin Steen, Necro Butcher, Kenny King, and others. The former World Champion is looking to regain the belt he lost in 2007, but never had a chance for a rematch until now.

The All Night Express (Rhett Titus & Kenny King) WILL challenge for the ROH World Tag Titles against The Kings of Wrestling. The duo earned a shot at the belts with a victory over Colt Cabana & El Generico at "Fate of an Angel II" in Mississauga, ON in November and will have their opportunity in the Frontier Fieldhouse.

A dream tag team match pitting Jay & Mark Briscoe against Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin will take place live on iPPV! These two teams got into it in Louisville, KY at the last "ROH on HDNet" TV tapings despite being on the same side of the ring, how will things play out when they are actually opponents? Jay Briscoe has promised to pull double duty if he holds the belt come February, and both teams are looking to get the next shot at the ROH World Tag Titles. Which team will prove dominant when ROH's celebrates its 9th birthday?

Yeah, when I first read that old school part, I was intrigued.  I was expecting early 90s Sting, now seeing the pics not so much.

I don't fault anyone for thinking the 'E might bury him but Mistico is really getting the star treatment. More so than any new signee in recent history. I think they'll push him STRONG right from the get go...the 'E knows Rey Mysterio's time is running out and they don't wanna lose their Latino viewership (which is big for Smackdown). Swagberto is on his way up and Mistico will most likely be their face.

[Stephen A. Smith] HOWEVA [/SAS], if he brings that ego over here and/or doesn't get over like he's supposed to......they'll job him with the quickness.

Mysterio on Sin Cara

Fanhouse.com spoke with WWE star Rey Mysterio, who talked about fellow Mexican wrestling star Sin Cara (formerly Mistico) signing with WWE. Here's what Mysterio said about it:

"I think the opportunity now shown is that the doors are open for anybody that has the quality to be part of WWE," Mysterio said. "You have the talent, you have the desire to be a superstar, come and the doors will be open and if you can make it, you'll be one of the top dogs. Alberto (Del Rio) is a big proof.

"When I came into the United States, I pretty much followed the Guerreros and Jerichos, a path as they just left Mexico and went on to ECW, WCW and WWE. So it was kind of a little train that we were taking around. It kind of feels good in a way that those doors have been opened for other Mexican wrestlers. Like you said, now with Mistico coming in, I want to say that I think those doors were eventually opened by the talent that myself, Eddie and a lot of wrestlers that started their careers in Mexico have opened up for other guys.

Mysterio's been pushing to bring him in since '07 so no problems on his part. Swagberto, that's another story...

That Mistico video was awesome.  The only reason I can see him not using La Mistico is because Del Rio is already using the armbar, but you never know.  It's a great looking move that he can hit on an opponent of any size.

And yeah, there's no reason to bring him in before WrestleMania.  They should do the slow debut with many vignettes like they did with Del Rio.
