Sneaker prices at an all time high unappreciation / Last Dance stimulus package Post

Was checking prices on St _ _ _x and G _ _ t and couldn't believe the prices on some of these shoes.

SBs and Jordans seem be climbing higher and higher with no end in sight (slight exaggeration).

SB's have made a huge comeback, I guess it started with the panda pigeons or maybe even before that.

And with the recent MJ doc, most of the older models have gone up (looking at you last shots and Chicago 1).

How long do y'all think this sneaker bull market (no pun) will last for? I'm hoping things calm down again. Miss the days when SBs were the forgotten child of Nike.

Yep. 5-10 years ago it was already felt mainstream to me but now sneakers etc. are ubiquitous.

Best way to avoid buyimg overpriced aftermarket resale prices, don't patronize those platforms. Simple as that. Ish ain't that complex. Keep it moving if you can't get the pair you want.

Can't lie, I'm definitely trying to finesse this situation since people are feeding into hype. I threw my backup pair of Cement 3s and a few others on GOAT.

I'm slowly getting jaded from sneaker culture, and now seems like a good time to get rid of a lot of them. Too hard to get the shoes, same releases over and over, lack of creativity, and retro Jordan's are basically "official" replicas.

Copped some 720s and 2090 for around 100 each.
For dunks and AJ1, if I don't hit on retail, I refuse to pay resell and I'm Ok with that.
FOMO is not tangible, it's psychological.

We’re in a spoon fed culture and I love it. People don’t know what’s hot. Jordan’s were already on an incline again but if you know where to look there are steals going on. There are DS 1995 Chicago 1’s going for less than 2015 Chicago 1’s right now. I just came up on both DS Playoff 13’s and Flint 13’s for less than what retails are going for. Like mentioned above, this documentary didnt need to tell you that Jordan’s are hot.
