That's why I never buy electronigs hardware off ebay. You never know, I'll mess with PS3 games and other stuff, but too much risk in that.

you can buy one put the broken one and return it to the store and tell them it didnt work...if it can work,

I would try calling Sony... Paypal and eBay is such a hassle...
Stores scan the serial number when they ring it up. No chance.
