SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Will Be The First Film In A New Spidey Trilogy According To Star Tom Holland
via: http://www.allocine.fr/article/fichearticle_gen_carticle=18664887.html
During an interview with French site Allocine, Peter Parker actor Tom Holland appeared to let slip that there is indeed a third installment on the radar:
“There is still plenty of room to see Peter grow up Parker and especially Spider-Man in the next two movies, and at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the story is definitely not complete, I’m really looking forward to exploring how it will grow, [and to] see what will happen after puberty. Yes, [they’re] going to be exciting movies.”
Just to be certain, the site asked Holland to clarify his words, to which he responded: “Yes, there will be Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming 3. Now, you know, sorry, Marvel, oops!"
Despite Tom Holland wanting to face off against Venom, Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts confirmed the new film would not be connected to his movie. And while some have assumed the whole idea of the film could be a ruse by Sony to help sell their company, word broke last month that not only was the movie still going forward, but that Tom Hardy would star and Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) would be directing. Though the MCU status of the film seemed to fade more and more with each piece of news, the addition of Hardy and Fleischer to the project meant a proper version of Venom could be on the horizon.
Though the film may still do well on its own, we now know definitively that it’s not connected to the MCU. AlloCiné (via Screen Geek) nabbed an interview with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, where the producer clarifies the confusion:
“For now, there is no plan for Venom in the MCU. It’s a Sony Project.”

Hell yea. Dust off my PS4

I don't think Hardy cares whether it's in the MCU or not. ****, I still think it's a chance he could drop out.
Welp, I wish Hardy was informed that this film wouldn't be part of the MCU. I'm sure he's getting paid good money, but probably would have been paid more if his character cameo'd in multiple films.

IDK why but Jai Courtney came to mind when thinking of Kraven. I think it's the accent. I want someone with an accent to play Kraven.
