Do these dudes cut weight for these? Or he’s walking around at around 163? Strong af
Cutting when you’re trying to be your strongest probably isn’t the best idea

Yes they do. It's down to a science where overall strength loss is minumum or none existent. Most competitive lifters will get to within 10 or so pounds of their class weight and cut the last bit in a week.

Like the UFC most competitive lifters do not walk around in their weight classes.

Only if youre going to break records like he did.

When it comes to USAPL/IPF they do 2hr weigh ins so its pretty much impossible to cut more than 10-15 pounds and be able to put that back on and lift at your best. Now other untested feds like USPA have 24hr weigh ins and plenty of guys have cut 20+ pounds, pretty sure Dan Green has never walked around at 220 and always cut down from 240-250.

No reason to do it if you aren't at a national/world comp or setting a record.

$400 bucks is more than my rack.

You’re home gym is fire man. Calibrated plates, 400 dollar j cups. :pimp:

I need some dumbbells but corona won’t let me be great. Power blocks and a landmine are on my list.

Anyone squat abd deadlift in converse? How do they feel? Debating on getting some because these nike air max and free runs not cutting it and I hate taking off my shoes to go bare foot in the gym

if someone squatted barefoot at the gym (shoes removed only performing exercise & no musty feet obvi), would y'all trip/judge?
