-Pepperoni pizza + ice cold Coke

-Coffee (black) + doughnut or danish.  You take a bite of the doughnut, give it about 2 chews and take a sip of the coffee to wash it down and let the aroma of the coffee travel up your nose as you exhale. 

-German food (sausage, schnitzel, red cabbage, sauerkraut, spaetzel) + German beer

And for those who stay classy:  medium rare steak + a nice pinot noir or merlot

Specific combos: frosty corona and lime with fresh salsa and chips, and a nice dry chianti with almost any pasta dish that has a red sauce, Marsala dish, or white fish dish oreganata or livornese
