Imagine what these guys would still be getting paid if Conor never came along??

Conor and Rhonda raised the bar. But those two were once in a lifetime athletes who had that it factor. Of course they could see the disparity and the company were forced to pay them at less than market value because those two WITHOUT promo were one million PPV view drawers.

Those two are gone from the sport.

Why hasn’t there been any other major stars?

JBJ is like the next biggest star after those two (besides GSP and Brock). Because he wasn’t on the level of Conor or Rhonda he can’t demand to get money for a super fight with Francis.

Jorge can’t demand his market value that they themselves set with the BMF fight. Why should he get paid half for Usman not being a draw? It’s the UFC’s fault.

Again, if these fighters managers continued to push these guys to sit out and demand the money I fully believe the UFC has more to loose over the fighters. These guys need to be paid accordingly and the revenue split is a joke.
