Anyone notice that the alert/notification tone is the same in every episode? It's like a subtle detail to show the audience that all episodes exist within the same universe. I also caught how there's a reference to "White Bear" in "Hated in the Nation".
Also, mind=blown @ the dude from the video game episode being Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's son.
There are references to previous Black Mirror episodes in the special. In the beginning of the film, on the screen of Matt's computer where other people in the conference call are shown, one of users has the nickname "I_AM_WALDO", and another "Pie Ape". The Z-Eyes are reminiscent of a similar device in "The Entire History of You". Clips of TV shows from "The Waldo Moment" and "Fifteen Million Merits" are visible when Joe flicks through the TV channels. The pregnancy test Joe finds was the same one as in "Be Right Back". A ticker tape during a news report mentions the prime minister from "The National Anthem" as well as Victoria Skillane from "White Bear" and Liam Monroe from "The Waldo Moment". Bethany sings "Anyone Who Knows What Love Is", the same song that Abi sings in "Fifteen Million Merits".[6][
I think they like putting little Easter eggs just for fun. Fifteen million merits would be like way in the future if that's where society ended up. Doesn't make sense then why we would see it in our near future shows from that far off one.
The Jerkoff Blackmail episode was good. Messed up at the end though
I feel like we are on our way when it comes to some of the tech show,
The most chillling stuff is the way media affects us as a society but also how we can effect media. The Waldo effect though not as strong as the other episodes, it holds more weight topically after the last election.
hated in the nation hits on online bullying, cyber terrorism, social media mobs, online accountability. **** even drones and the fear that the right hacker with the wrong agenda could cripple us
No doubt we're like 10 years away from some of the stuff on the show.

I haven't watched it. But this really happened to someone I work with the other day [emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji], told my friend about it and he said it sounds like a black mirror episode.
He was targeted by some random person on facebook according to him, come on son, if some random girl messages you on FB telling you she just broke up with her bf and wants to chat with you on webcam, something fishy is obviously going on [emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji]
