if you were starting the NBA from scratch the season should probably be like 40-50 games.


that would a low enough number that every game would matter, and make every regular season game more of an event.
You could charge more money for games.

imo the NBA would make more monye.


70 games, imo does nothing. it might help with injuries but its not a low enough number to make the regular season games matter more.

People wanna blame Doc Rivers,



but quietly Gannis I think is a bigger issue. he's not the same guy on defense.
and he's never been able to lift great offenses by himself.

He was looking improved that season. Was making outside shots at a decent enough clip to keep defenses fairly honest. FTs were better, IIRC. He’s regressed since the title year, IMO.
