The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Begins | Embiid Debut | Klay Return

romanticizing last night's performance by amen thompson as the best "non wemby" defensive minutes played by a rookie over a beat up knicks team who got jerked around by the refs all night is pretty hungry

6 steals and 13 rebounds is considered "elite"

Nature of the perpetual content era we’re living in.

Same energy as the “only the second player to ever have 22-7-7 on 50 percent shooting in a Tuesday game in late January” kind stat lines we get nowadays.

Wow, Wizards had a trade lined up to send Kuzma to the Mavs. Wizards GM went to Kuzma and asked him if he wanted to stay or go. Kuz decided to stay, and the Wizards-Mavs agreed to a Gafford trade instead.

Kuz could've gone to the cold *** mavs and decided to stay in Washington. Might be one of the dumbest dudes ever.

Definitely think the top 10 teams currently are locked in. As always, the order will be interesting.

I’d expect Golden State to stay at 10.

Mathematically the Lakers can obviously avoid the play-in entirely but they just haven’t been able to put together any prolonged stretch of good play this year.

Warriors also have two games to make up in their schedule because of the passing of the coach.
