There are horrible, exhausting subsections of Twitter but it's not going to be easy to transition off it if it does completely shut down. Besides the discussions, jokes, & memes, Twitter's ability to deliver up to the second breaking news is unmatched.

And branching off that, giving independent creators a platform. Twitter was the start for a lot of musicians, podcasters, journalists, artists, etc. Especially for people of color.

Real sad to see what the greedy, power hungry man-child has done in just a couple weeks.
