The Official NBA Season Thread: Player Option Day

They broke him. But he probably wasn’t the right guy for the job anyway

Mike hired the coach he previously fired. And it wasn’t like the Hornets were very good under him before. He def wasn’t the guy for the job.

If you go back and watch the Charlotte teams he coached during his first stint, you can see a lot of the same deficiencies. Players obviously deserve some share of the blame, but he’s just not a head coach for this era of the NBA, imo.

Is it a hot take to think that they won't relinquish it for the rest of the season?

Can't really see another team sitting at no.1 come April besides them or the Champs who are a half game back right now.

OKC and Minny's starts have been impressive but it feels like the credible contenders are gonna seperate themselves from the rest of the pack in the 2nd half of the season

Damn barely 24hrs later and already kaput

Kinda weird that Nike and the NBA are allowing Kyrie to wear socks with Anta and his logos on them

He is the only player I have seen doing that.

Kings won't be a serious team until they trade for a star.

I personally would have that lead every national media segment about the NBA. Maybe even have Stephen A Smith yell into a camera about it at 9:30 AM.

sixers on the skids
tyrese maxey with 12 pts is rough

Thibs has had Maxey playing over 37 minutes a night thus far. All Star break is coming at a good time.

Kyrie been wearing his own socks since brooklyn . He was wearing his own Nike Socks , then plain ones
