Question so is the 2nd apron a hard cap like you can't sign anyone once you're over the 182 mil or is it just the restrictions that come along with it? If so, you might as well do what PHX is doing.

This is like saying Austin Reaves shouldn’t sign the largest offer sheet.
These players need to take their first opportunities at the bag and run!!!! These aren’t lottery picks either. You only get 2-3 chances at big contacts in the league and you can get injured at any time.
Always take the IMMEDIATE bag unless you’re some lottery pick max salary player… then you gotta consider other factors.
