Miami’s depth is gonna be atrocious after the Dame Deal.

Eh, Herro, Robinson, Jovic and picks? They still got BBL Kyle, as a backup, Caleb Martin, got Richardson for the low, sure they'll be able to get some decent talent off the minimum. No brainier for them to do it, it'll put them as favorites or at worst Co-favorites to win the whole thing.

When's the last time a team drafted six players and they were all All-Star/starter/solid rotation player quality?
This the part rockets Twitter and Reddit don’t want to hear. The reality is that doesn’t happen.

OKC, GS, MEM

You need to have drafted one All NBA player to have this work though.

I would have to double check but I think every successful rebuild of the past 15 years (I am talking multiple playoff misses to perennial plays) is done on the back of at least one drafter All-NBA player. So if you don’t think any of Young Rox are going to be level All-NBA players then there is no point of this conversation.

Denver
Sacramento
Milwaukee
Golden State
Philadelphia
Phoenix
New Orleans
Atlanta

Those come to mind immediately and some exceptions would be Boston and Dallas who weren’t down bad for long but struck gold (First Team All-NBAers) when they drafted and Clippers/Lakers who did it with FA signings and trades.

yea they are just trying to get more from the heat. its a matter of who caves in first.
100%

Same squad who sent CJ McCollum and GP2 to their preferred spots aren't gonna do right by Dame?

They're just getting Woj to try to drum up some fake bidding war and squeeze the most they can from Riley.

Still hope things move quickly though because the way Cronin's been moving publicly, things could get weird if it drags on.

The real young core/s
Lakers :

Clarkson
Randle
Dlo
BI
Zubac
Zo
Josh hart
Kuzma

That is the issue with some rebuilding teams, that Nick may have been alluding, is they collect too young bols on one squad and it becomes too difficult to develop all of them. Those guys the Lakers drafted are all great (Zo has injuries but when healthy is a solid piece) but they wouldn’t have been develop together had they tried to go down that route.

That is when GMs, scouts and coaches really earn their money and reputation because at that point it is about who you keep and who you spin off into vets/cap space for a bigger star to pair with them. They had Bron gift wrapped and AD was attached to him so it worked out for LA
