Like I said last night, 3-3. Gets a triple double losing by 28 and 17. Don’t even need to watch to know he was farming trip dubs.Not a Luka apologist but Imma need a better example than this

That boston game that they lost by 28:
-Luka got his 10th rebound with 5 minutes left in the 3rd, in a 2-point game.
-He got his 10th assist with 11 minutes left in the 4th, down 12.
The Indy game that they lost by 17:
-Got his 10th assist with 9:58 left in the 4th, down 13.
-Got his 10th rebound with 6:34 left, down 16.
You don’t think star players should still be in the game in those situations?

They were down 13 and 18 going into the 4th of both of those games. So sure, maybe he belonged in the game but when you take 25 shots thru 3 quarters and your team is down 18 going into the 4th, who cares if you got a triple double? Your +- is -18. You’re the main reason your team is out of the game with the ball in your hands 50% of the time
Luka will start being taken seriously for MVPs when his numbers actually decline and they’re up 10 instead of down 15 to good teams. I couldn’t care less about a guy getting a triple double in 3 quarters when his team is down double digits. Garbage basketball.
