The thing that bothers me about the Wemby hype is that it also goes the other way with the slander which makes it difficult to get an accurate read l. Too many prospects perform wonderfully in Summer League then fall flat come regular season and vice versa.

I think him needing a ways to go on offense but looks like he can make an impact from Day 1 on the defensive end is probably the appropriate middle ground between the hype and hate.

This is why I don't like the nasty work from the media on Wemby. He like every draftee needs significant time to get better. Not only is the NBA the highest level of basketball in the world but the pace and speed is way more than what he was playing against. It takes time for everyone.
