In their defense, Miami squads tend to have pedestrian, or even struggle, first halves of the szn & then gets going in the latter.

They don’t look comfy in that 6 spot. Lettuce take that burden off them this week. Idk how active they plan to be this deadline but a sharp fall to 8th might move the needle for change.

Nobody was picking them to win the East or anything like that. They’re a 6 seed with their best player missing a third of the season. And they’re 2.5 games out of homecourt. Seems about what you’d expect.
