Considering the price and specs, I really only have one quibble with the new PSVR2 design... The rear adjustment/lock dial protrudes from the headband now... 😟

So when sitting in a sim-racing rig or playing in a high-back chair, the dial may push your head more forward than just the strap alone. This was not uncomfortable but felt somewhat unnatural with the first version - this design change looks as if it will exacerbate the mild "push". Reserving final judgment until later but I noticed that right away.

Everything else seems to be much improved.

Almost like a competitor didnt like how the current agreement was excluding them and petitioned the governing body to make a change.

Strange, I didn't hear Sony come out countering it, touting a 10 year deal.

"As part of the goal for this year's game, MLB decided to bring the franchise to more players and baseball fans. This decision provides a unique opportunity to further establish MLB The Show as the premier brand for baseball video games."

I don't trust the mainstream media, but this confirms my hypothesis.

Philadelphia Spencer went to the MLB, with his arms out-stretched, asking for the MLB to intervene.

MLB, noted xenophobes, hating that a small Japanese company was doing so well, forced Sony to move The Show to other platforms.

Little did they know, Sony was happy to do so, because it represented a equal playing field for all in the market, which is all they have ever wanted.

It does say a bit about the state of Xbox that Philthy Phil would rather Sony make them a game than have one of his 900 studios actual produce something their fans can enjoy.

Single Player games are here to stay.
The steam concurrent players are huge and console sales might even be more.

82:18 split shows why these marketing deals are important for the console manufacturers. That's a massive split.

Dead Space did well.

Last of Us with the TV boost
Miles still charting is a good sign for Spider-Man 2

oh wow, i for sure thought Nintendo held that title.
Nintendo has had a few duds in terms of sales. Every Sony console minus the PS3 (and obviously PS5) has cracked 100M sold. Hell even the PSP hit like 80M sold.

Because I apparently don't value money or saving it, and also hate having free-time to spend with family and friends, I bought PGA2k23 and got NBA 2K23 as well (because for some reason the pack was cheaper than just buying PGA by itself.

PGA is a blast, but its pretty bare bones. I am used to 2K's casino-like microtransactions and this doesnt seem to have it (in single player anyway) but that said, it doesnt really have much on the customization side. A handful of clothing options, a few clubs, a pretty weak RPG-like leveling system.

But the golf itself is really good, which is all I was looking for.

More like a completely portable Wii U... but it would be nice to see Nintendo actually make a powerful home console again, then they can justify charging $70 for gamed.
