Making a few scrap books for things like this
( hiphop stickers/posters, advertisements ect.) so I’m cataloging the lo chambers and came across these,some I don’t even remember what iteam or line they come from so my research is in effect.

now the recent ski ones don’t make any sense whatsoever…polo USA and the uni badge came in 1987,the circle ski pluse the crest cookie was introduced in 1988…and the 1992 was..well..introduced in 1992 Then they put a cookie on the suicide Uggg WTH!!

original POLO SPORT hang tags 🏷/ sticker from 1994. Yeah it’s a missed art that RL would implement with strategic perfection seems to be hit or miss or just not given any attention at all.

Sometimes it’s the little things that counts.
Even going into a Ralph store or space in a mall
I would look into the draws or cabinet's because there would be all kinds of things not out on the show room (ties, cuff links,socks) most people would just go straight to the racks..me I’m looking in the buckets/ pails for the newsboy/driver caps
It’s the experience. Come on tell me you never just looked at the presentation w/ all the tags just hanging looking perddy like.

A tedious task to say the least and it’s not only polo I’m cataloging.
You can go so many different ways on RL with things that may not matter but in the bigger picture it matters..well to those of us that really appreciate things like that. Like dress shirt collar stays or the details on hand made Italian ties…ect,ect it’s a rabbit hole 🕳 well worth diving into.

That’s really where they lost me when they started doing these weird hybrid mash ups of different lines that weren’t from the same era. Why not make some new classics instead of half hearted retreads of the yesteryear.

In my experience the booney, fisherman’s,bucket all fit a little different and the look of each plays a part of that. .what I can tell you is if you wear a s/m then get your size and vise versa. Hope that helps.

Finally grabbed me one of these bad boys. And the weather is cooperating with me rocking it. The day it came in, it was 80 degrees. Today won’t break 50 here in KY!

The Hi-Tech line is a great example of what you mean by details cause it has very little branding but lots of settle details that make the pieces unique and stand out.

In my experience the booney, fisherman’s,bucket all fit a little different and the look of each plays a part of that. .what I can tell you is if you wear a s/m then get your size and vise versa. Hope that helps.

nothing about the hats from that line are “winter”
It’s only in name. Even the fake steep jacket is not up the the title (no gor-tex no thinsulate no polortec)
And the goose well is just a goose adorned with summer games decorations. The silver on the boobie is the same material as that all silver polo sport hat and Jacket that came out around the same time. The rest is pretty much the same design specs as a traditional boonie (Vietnam war).if you rock nylon/polyester you should be good to go.

Yea I figured polo wouldnt go the extra mile. But i noticed the hi tech boonie has some ventilation mesh around the top for breath ability. I didn’t see that same ventilation on the winter stadium boonie

That might be the only omitted detail for the hat. I don’t personally have ether but I have Handled both and passed on them all including the snowbeach witch is my favorite out of the bunch.
