The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

DQVII is good but DQVIII is my favorite. I bought it for the FFXII demo and ended up liking it just as much, if not more than XII.
I was going to ask your opinion on this. I hear DQ VII is ~100 hrs :wow: 2 weeks before FF XV and now I'm thinking Setsuna might be the safer choice for now

Itching to play no mans sky at work right now.

Only put in 2 hours and i must explore!
What is there to do in that game

Anything you want within the sandbox universe presented to you

http://www.no-mans-sky.com/about/

No Man’s Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated galaxy

Whether a distant mountain or a planet hanging low on the horizon, you can go there. You can fly seamlessly from the surface of a planet to another, and every star in the sky is a sun that you can visit.
Where you’ll go and how fast you’ll make your way through this universe is up to you. It’s yours for the taking.

Explore uncharted solar systems and catalogue unique new forms of life. Every planet’s landscape is different from the next, and populated by species never before encountered.
Find ancient artefacts that could reveal the secrets behind the universe.
Choose whether to share your discoveries with other players. They’re exploring the same vast universe in parallel; perhaps you’ll make your mark on their worlds as well as your own.

Every solar system, planet, ocean and cave is filled with danger, and you are vulnerable.
Your ship and suit are fragile, and every encounter can test your skills to the limit. From dogfighting in space to firstperson combat on a planet’s surface, you will face foes ready to overwhelm you.
And one mistake could see you lose everything. In No Man’s Sky, every victory and every defeat has lasting consequences.

Whether you want to explore and see things never before discovered, or directly set course for the centre of the galaxy, how you play No Man’s Sky is up to you.
But you cannot take your voyage lightly. You’ll need to prepare.
Collect precious resources on the surfaces of planets and trade them for the ships, suits and equipment that will take you to your destiny in the stars.

Has anyone played the Infamous games? Are they good?
Played them all except, first light.

Infamous 1 was the best of the series from a gameplay/story perspective. Graphics aside.

Infamous 2's story was lacking. Graphics def improved.

Infamous 3 has the best graphics/gamplay, but story was lacking.

Series is well worth playing.

It's like assassin's creed without all the things that make assassin's creed boring.

Uncharted series is basically a must try/play.

I think the UC collection is already $15-20.

Uncharted 1:4/5, introduction

Uncharted 2:5/5, 2nd adventure ride

Uncharted 3:4/5, backstory

Uncharted 4: 4/5, backstory

Finished uncharted 1 this past weekend.

Game was really good. They were ahead of their time but the controls / jumping and what not definitely got extremely refined through the years

Playing 4 first was kinda cool cuz playing thru 1 just felt like a prequel experience like 2 & 3 will be.

im sure i'll replay 4 sometime next year after i finish 3.

I think they did the best they could. Also it's been stated uncharted 1 had to have six axis controls included. When you'd walk across a log, you'd tilt the whole controller to balance drake's walking.

I played uncharted 1-3 on a dualshock 3.

You had to press r1 to shoot.

Ipersonally think Uncharted 3 is better than part 2 but you're in for a treat with Uncharted 2 :smokin

Reading that note makes me hope this game does well. I personally don't have interest in it but you can tell that Hello Games put a lot into making this game. That note kind of reminds of the note that CD Projekt Red put in the retail copies of The Witcher 3.

i hate that crap when walking across a log. i remember my first time playing uncharted 1 and thought it was so dumb

Uc2 might be my favorite. But uc3 really got me in the feels toward the end.

On ch21 of uc4. Should beat it tomorrow.

Yea, Dragon Quest games are no joke. You could conceivably get through in almost half the time, but you'd miss alot of the extra stuff.

Setsuna can be plat'd in around 30 hours according to Colin Moriarty, so not too long.
