Doubtful. If they pay a person $200 for a trade in on an OG, there's not enough room there for them to make money and incentivize someone to buy your trade-in, when there is a new slimmer, quieter PS4 for $300.

Who already owns a 4 and is going to buy a slim? Not a huge segment I imagine.
I see the slim as the SKU for the new customer, while the PS4K will initially attract the early adopter, who most likely has a PS4 already.

The trophies (and a few character designs) were the only step backs imo; ranking the star oceans game i've played: SO2 > SO4 > SO3 > SO5
