Haven't been following Arsenal closely, but why are they having so much trouble scoring goals?

And is Walcott injured or something?

Various reasons....


Giroud and technically Podolski are still adjusting to the PL. They lost Robisto last season, and when you look at the stats last season, that's where the bulk of their goals came from. Giroud is class though, as much as I joke, give him time, and he'll start pulling the trigger.

Arsenal also made a crucial change with Carzola, he's class as well, but him, Giroud and Podolski still need time to fully understand each other... sometimes you're fortunate where the players gel instantly (RVP & Waza), but sometimes it takes a bit of time (look at Kagawa at United, class as well, but he hasn't settled in as fast as everyone would like).

Arsenal needs time, and a bit of building in the back and they'll be fine....
