As someone who watched the whole series just last year, it was such a moment of wow getting the source of this almighty gif lmao

The Wire is in no shape or form overrated.

It's the only show that "goes there" in terms of the social commentary and it brings awareness to issues no other show would even think about. If you don't watch this show and come away with a different mindset about the deep rooted issues in this country then I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah, it's been so long since I watched it but I remember when I was first introduced to it I could never put it down. I'd watch 5-6 eps straight. Only thing I've come close to binge watching
