The game is too damn different to be comparing Steph Curry to PGs born in 60s and 70s.

game is different but not completely different

you can see how certain guys gradual got better as 3 point shooters once they started taking more but it wasn’t really emphasized in the game then

but you could see how a guy like magic might be used slightly different in today’s game to just take more advantage of his size and versatility but he’s still running your offense and pushing the ball.. but you let him play one of your forward spots on defense maybe get another athlete out there or shooter.. he could grab rebounds and go.. can only imagine the abuse magic would give teams with the teams spaced out and running to cover shooters

I mean it isn't completely different in the way snowboarding is to weightlifting, sure.

But the role/responsibilities of THE AVERAGE PG is VASTLY different in the modern era vs. 90s and previous generations.
