Please don't be this dense with this DRTG argument. The game is entirely different in 2017 than it was in 2008. There were 137 3s made in the 2017 Finals compared to 95 in 2008 (Yes, there were only 6 games). Clearly higher scoring. If you're going to use ORTG/DRTG, which I think is kind of stupid in a 6-7 game playoff series, you have to compare someone's numbers to the other guys on the floor. The starters on the winning team are generally always going to have better net ratings than the ones on the losing team.

Rondo, Ray, and Pierce were at 103, 106, and 106 compared to Kobe's 111.
Draymond, Iggy, and KD were at 112, 114, and 114 compared to Bron's 117.

Bad defense and downright awful offense from Kobe in the 08 Finals. Just is what it is. Majority of the greats all have a stinker at some point.
