O.G. XIIs are built like Ford Trucks...
So they have cheap crappy plastic interiors?
lol, jp homeboy
og 12's suck. i agree they can take a beating but the bottom is very stiff compared to the retros. they are not as cushiony as the retros andnot as comfortable. and retros always were slightly different from the originals. my og infrared 6's were way diff. than the retro infrared 6's. didanyone complain? no. the 03/04 12's were one of the most comfortable j's but personally i think anything from the 99-01 era were the most comfortable.(5's 6's 11's, etc). i'm not sure how the cdp's fit, i wouldn't expect too much from anything produced beyond like...05 (and even thenpeople were complaining about how crappy the 13's were, i could only imagine what garbage they're putting out 4 years later)Originally Posted by eyes of hazel

Thus, I will never put a retro XII on my foot...
Never ever? Neva Eva.
Even the first slew of retros (wht/blue, etc). weren't built correctly.
Just like the VIIs. "Something" with the shape and the weight of the retros is "off".

However, with the CDP XIIs you can really feel the zoom air undernath your feel..they have a SB feel to them. Also, OG XIIs are the most crease resistant shoes I have ever own. The CDPs crease after a few wears, but not it's not noticeable due to the tumbled leather they used on there.
And for the record, CDP XIIs have nearly the same grade of tumbled leather that was on the ogs. the retros is slightly more stiff, but it's barely noticeable.
