Token White People in Black Shows

Does anyone else hate this? 99.9% of the time token white people are corny as hell. Im watching wildin out, and this token white girl was on, had to look her up, julia young, straight cornball. Im white, but is this how black people feel about the token black guy in white movies?

and while someone like Fez in "that's 70's show" might be funny and not incredibly stupid, it's hard to ignore his role there with how he's portrayed.

i recently re-watched that 70s show after 15 years or something and damn, people would be kicking off big time if it was on tv now, all those references to fez not being able to read or count, being a butler etc. don't think it'd go down well in 2019 :D

I only agree because That 70s show was supposed to be a family kind of show, but if it was more adult focused it would have been fine. Shows like Family Guy, F is for Family, South Park and similar do well with those stereotype jokes and over the top stuff like that.
