I'm a transfer student who just got rejected from UCLA so it looks like I will be attending UCSB this upcoming school year. Now I'm from the SantaBarbara County, have been to some UCSB parties (Halloween

) although Iam lost as to UCSB's academics and other social life other than the partying and the STD myth.

Any NT'ers attend UCSB? Can anyone fill me in on pros and cons? Why you like/dislike the school. Also, I would appreciate if someone can break down thedorms/apartments so I can get some sort of insight before I turn in my housing application.
