Valid Forms of Identification in Las Vegas? HELP

headed to Las Vegas, this weekend.

my driver's license was expiring so i went to go renew it at the DMV yesterday. Today i noticed they punched a hole in my drivers license! which ibelieve makes it invalid.

So my question is will a driver license with a hole punch that still hasn't expired be accepted or will my passport work as ID to gamble and get into club?

your passport will work.
but they don't give you your new ID right away?

In Vegas, they give you a piece of paper stating your license is currently being renewed. So, you bring that PLUS your punched ID. Most clubs will NOT acceptexpired or punched ID's.

Go back to your DMV and explain your situation, they should be able to help you out and maybe give you an accompanying document.

yeah im from CA. it takes like 4-6 weeks for ids to come in the mail. i did get an accompanying paper

Just bring the paper, and you're good to go. My homegirl had to do that at the clubs all weekend with us a few weeks back.
