"Vintage" (i.e. Old$$!%) Ralph Lauren on Ebay

My folks that are 25 and over can appreciate this.

I'm searching ebay for some Ralph Lo the other day. Looking to see if I can find a sweatshirt, t-shirt, or hat with the Polo Teddy Bear on it. So the ebaysearch engine suggests searching for "vintage" Ralph Lauren items. I damn near fell out of my chair with some of the prices they are charging forRalph Lauren items from the mid to late 90's. I was starting to think that maybe I shouldn't have donated the Polo V-neck tennis sweater, used the Poloamerican flag sweater to clean my rims, or gotten rid of my Polo jacket when the color started to fade a bit.

I remember Grand Puba and the Polo fisherman's vests and long billed hats... and that group of 'boosters' called Zhiggy from "Rakin' inthe dough' fame... them dudes were draped in Polo....
 
ive got a hi-tech with a busted zipper if anyones interested (the red one grand puba rocked, cant remember song name though)

Although I got about 4 of'em. I may get rid of two of them soon. I need another XXL.

Other than, Alot of them clowns on VGA are into that Gaudy stuff. Allover prints and silks. Not feeling and not going to buy it just for "e-fame".

And I was never really found of the bears. I'm a grown%#%! man. Bear on my shirt super-imposed may not be a good look(even though I do own a couple ofrugby's w/ small Polo Bear logo's on them...........).

The vintage game ain't what it used to be. Especially w/ so many novices looking for anything old. This post here proves that. I haven't been on VGA inmonths.


But most of that stuff you posted s going to go for atleast $500-$700 at the least and that Snowbeach is going for $1500 easy.
