As of lately, rather for a long time now, Nike SB has steadily been rolling downhill. And I feel like there needs to be a thread dedicated to Nike Sb as awhole so that MAYBE Nike SB might find its way back onto the map.
I honestly feel like the days of the SB are over, most notably the dunk. In the beginning Nike was looking to skateboard companies, and skate shops forcollaborations and ideas. What ever happened to that? Simple & clean color schemes, with premium materials, and occasionally some eye catching designs orartwork.
Now I'm not gonna lie, limited availability does play a role here. Many avid shoe collectors, sneakerheads, or whatever you want to call it enjoy theexclusiveness of the shoe. It is pleasing to know that you have a have a pair of shoes that are highly sought after, in which most are unaware of, or have noway of obtainning unless they are as dedicated as you or are willing to cough up major bread. And I know many will argue that SB's are for skating, butmany who skate also collect and buy sought after shoes.
I would just like to have a topic for open discussion in regards to what other ppl's feelings and opinions on the matter.
With that being said I've chosen some of my favorites of all time just so we can all see where Nike SB was, and how it compares to today's market.
