I think this is one of his best albums and from my understanding, This is the only Redman solo album to go platinum... What do you gys think of this album? I also want to know why he isn't a candidate for being the president of Def Jam, since he have been pretty loyal to the record deal and never left the label like other rappers.. This could be a interesting conversation...

For me its Muddy Waters, Docs Da Made, Dare Iz a Darkside.

Muddy had that distinct sound. Doc crossed Redman over in the mainstream, imo, thanks to Def Jam at that time and the roster they had.

Agreed. but blackout, whut thee and Muddy Water still have great, great cuts...Regardless, one of the most unappreciated MC's to do it

It was mainstream but still true to his own sound. Haven't listened to it in a loooooong time

It was really dope when it came out but does not hold time well at all. Only his first three are classic and worthy of going back and listening to. I'll probably never listen to Doc's Da Name again.

 - is all I gotta say about this album.
The rhythm hitter without the venom in em Pen'll scare them with the %$+% I pull out the John Lennon.

Album was cool, you can't go wrong with most of Redman's work. Muddy Waters like most people is my fave fave by him though.
