What matches a yellow prom dress?

My girl has a yellow dress for prom, and idk what color vest and tie to get, I was thinking white vest with a white and yellow tie but my mom says I'd looklike an easter egg and a bumblebee.

You guys got any suggestions for what colors I should wear?

I swear to God Jawny read my mind. Dude, yellow is like one of the dopest tux accent colors since salmon.
 
Anyone got that picture of dude wearing the Bk/Yellow BMP I's to his prom in a Blk/Yellow suit?.. Dudes on NT was clownin' on him, but I thought it wasa nice fit.
 
All White tux, yellow vest, white tie or yellow tie.

Or invert with white vest and yellow tie.

That got ran into the dirt fast....but just go with yellow, not a super dark yellow but something light
 
depends on what kind of yellow it is, and is it all yellow or are there accents? u should post pix if possible
 
dont wear a ridiculous costume, wear proper black tie apparel

dinner jacket in black or navy
black or navy pants with a satin stipe
black (or navy) cummerbund or waistcoat (SHORT)
Black bow tie
black patent shoes or velvet pumps

youll thank me in 20 years when you look at your prom pictures
