The iphone 3gs and 3G. Is it worth the extra 100 dollars?

Im thinking about switching my service from verizon to at&t. How good is the service and reliability? How durable are IPHONES?

There's an official thread about this already, but...

iPhone 3gs comes in 16gb/32gb. 3g comes in 8gb/16gb

3gs has a video recorder, voice recognition, auto focus camera and improved speed while switching between apps.

If that sounds worth the extra $100 to you, then it's worth it. I had the 3g and gladly paid the extra $100 just for the increased storage space

Why would you need 16gb on your phone if you already have an ipod? Just wondering and assuming you have on already. What else takes up that kind of space?

I personally wouldn't want to carry around an ipod and a cell phone, so getting the iphone made sense to me. And you can fill up space with more than justmusic. You have apps, movies, email, notes, contacts, games, themes (if jailbroken) etc. 16GB certainly wasn't enough space for me, but I wouldn't getan iphone unless you want to use it for its full capability.

All have no MMS ftl

What do you mean its full capability? I will be using it for my school email, games, different apps, and internet.

having music, movies, and tv shows can take up a lot of space. But if you don't plan on putting them on there then you'll be fine with 8GB
