edit- I have a 3.42 GPA Majoring in Accounting and Finance so my life doesn't evolve around NT, LOL, but maybe the GPA would be THAT much better if NT wasnt here

If you're the type who allows something like an internet forum to distract you from your studies, chances are something else would have filled that void. Television, video games, sports, partying, etc.

You can still be on NT and be a great student, it's not one or the other.

in high school it's easy because of all the Honors/AP classes...i got a 4.0 twice so far while on NT....but for college...i don't think it's as easy.

No females still exist, so does a lot of other things I like. 4.0 GPA is completely dependent on me wanting to have it but I don't hold it in high regard.

I had a 3.7 at NU. It's damn near impossible to get a 4.0 at NU, so no, NT wasn't a distraction.
