True this is nothing new in society but in the Internet age where we have almost unlimited resources there should be no reason why a celeb (or anybody for that matter) should be able to get away with selling fool's gold.  But the sad part is the people that know the truth and still choose to buy the stuff anyway.  You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink...
