Karl Marx 1867: "Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more expensive goods, houses and technology, pushing them to take moreand more expensive credits, until their debt becomes unbearable. The unpaid debt will lead to bankruptcy of banks, which will have to be nationalized, and theState will have to take the road which will eventually lead to communism."

you guys must admit that the US is acting socialist towards saving these financial institutions. The government owns businesses now which was previously neverheard of...

Communism is, "in theory" good, but never actually works out. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

Communism is a good thing ruined by dictators.

Also, everything in his manifesto is coming true.

This country will become a fascist state long before it becomes a communist one. Look around, it's not difficult to tell.

Someone needs to read Animal Farm.
I understand Karl Marx to a T almost, been studying him for the last two years, ironically enough I haven't picked up Animal Farm it's onmy 2009 summer reading list. Anyone that thinks that communism is a bad theory does not understand stand it, and def does not undrestand Marx.

Andthe person that made the comment about the US becoming fascist, you are one of the few people on NT with the blinders off. For those of you that question him, just check out Benito Mussolini and Italy from the mid 1930's-1944.

Communism is unrealistic and unachievable for extended periods of time in an imperfect world.
