Daniel Bryan defeated John Cena in an epic match at SummerSlam to win the WWE Championship.  After receiving a royal celebration, HHH turned on him and Randy Orton cashed in Money in the Bank to win the WWE Title.

Daniel Bryan got his rematch against Randy Orton at Night of Champions where he defeated Randy Orton to once again win the WWE Title.  However, the next night on Raw, the decision was nullified due to referee Scott Armstrong's fast count.  The title was "held in abeyance".

Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton met once again last night to fight for the vacant WWE Title.  When Daniel Bryan was in control, The Big Show came out and on orders of Brad Maddox, he knocked Daniel Bryan out (who played dead for over 5 minutes).  Maddox sent out Scott Armstrong (who was in the building despite being fired) to make the count for Orton.  Big Show pulled Armstrong out of the ring and knocked him out.  Orton got in Big Show's face, which lead to Big Show knocking Orton out.  There was no finish to the match.  Both men played dead while Big Show celebrated (I guess?) in the ring while the crowd had no idea how to react.  Well, until they realized this was the end of the show when they started with "Refund" and "B******t" chants.

WWE has pulled the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" three straight PPVs with Daniel Bryan.  Once is fine.  Twice is too many.  Three times is unacceptable.  WWE screwed their paying audience too many times this time.  Especially because we will see Orton and Bryan once again at Hell in a Cell, and Hell in a Cell has nowhere near the cache it once had due to WWE's PG product.

Other results were:

-Dolph Ziggler d Damien Sandow

-Alberto Del Rio d Rob Van Dam to retain the World Title in a Hardcore Match

-The Real Americans d The Great Khali and Santino

-CURTIS AXEL d R-Truth to retain the Intercontinental Title

-AJ Lee d Brie Bella to retain the Divas Title

-Cody Rhodes and Goldust d Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in by far the best match of the show.

-Bray Wyatt d Kofi Kingston

-CM Punk d Ryback with a low blow

Tonight HHH and Stephanie will address what happened last night after being forced to leave the PPV early.

The PPV Prediction Contest results will be posted tomorrow.

Big Show celebrating last night reminded me of Frank Reynolds at the end of that It's Always Sunny episode where they wrestle for the troops.

Remember how bad WWE was with Twitter last year?  It could be 10x worse now....

--Neilsen will be debuting its new Twitter ratings for TV starting this week.

Brand extension seems a bit rash at this point. None of us would be complaining if the clowns in the back had a vision for more than three wrestlers at a time.

Pretty much again.  You don't need a brand extension.  Just don't make Smackdown a replay of Raw and actually do other stuff on the show.

Watchin MNF & Playoff baseball but i'll tune in for the opening segment.

Didn't watch BG but reading last weeks thread, it seemed like an episode of SD with a $50 price tag.

D Bry will get the blame for the low buyrates.

Hopefully Orton gets injured tonight.
