Yo realtalk, New York may be the worst city ever

City University of New York:
Hunter College - great all around
Baruch College - alumni - great business school
Queens College
John Jay College- great for criminal justice

theres some more. Low cost, high quality and reputible schools in NYC

im at a cuny right now

i wanna transfer to another one. when does financial aid cut off? @ age 24?

i got placed on some financial probation

Coming from someone who's never been to NY, it seems like SJU is surrounded by a suburban type area. Like it's not close to anything lively. It also seems like the nearest subway is like 20 minutes away?

Maybe I'm wrong

I just wanna get the hell out of TX for a year or two and go to grad school somewhere new.

Wait so why did you put "CUNY?"

 I believe Pell grants stop after 6 years = 12 semesters and I'm not sure when TAP cuts off

It doesn't go by age

edit: please don't tell me you go to CSI? That's a hell of a commute :x

yeah it's annoying to find the subway from SJU. I live 10 minutes away so driving there was perfect, but it's buried in the middle of queens. if anything, visit NY for a weekend vacation and check out the scene.

Cali got the most overrated

They also got the hottest residents apparantly (tho I highly doubt it)

Off-topic, but how do people in NY view St.John's U?

school is expensive as hell but as far as i know they are known for their pharmacy program. i live down the street from the school...its grown over the years, as most universities...

I think we can all agree New York isn't worse than St. Louis.

LOL
