I've been reorganizing my iPod for the past few hours and was thinking about this.

Has to be 5 different artists

Not in order...

1. NY State of Mind-Nas
2. Things Done Changed-Biggie
3. Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em-Eric B. and Rakim
4. Dream Shatterer-Big Pun
5. Ambitionz Az a Ridah-2pac

if you asked me again in 5 minutes you'd get a different answer but whatever

1. NY State of Mind-Nas
2. 93 Til Infinity-Souls of Mischief
3. Chapter 13-Common
4. Reality Check-Binary Star
5. Mind Playing Tricks On Me-The Geto Boys

Illmatic is one of the greatest records of all time, any genre...why? Because I could easily justify swapping four more songs from it with the rest of my list

yeah this will change but uhh

New York State of Mind - Nasty NaS, C.R.E.A.M. - Wu-Tang Clan, Passin' Me By - The Pharcyde, I Used to Love H.E.R. - Common Sense, Ms. Fat Booty -Mos Def

nuthin but a g thing- dre and snoop
Juicy- Biggie
those two would make it....as far as the rest not too sure?

Troublesome '96 and Pain would be 1 and 2 for me. After that, it changes everyday....

The World is Yours - NaS
TROY - Pete Rock and CL Smooth
Juicy - Biggie
Scenario - A Tribe Called Quest feat. L.O.N.S.
Paid in Full - Eric B. and Rakim

nas - ny state of mind

mos def - travelin man
biggie - juicy

Hhhmmmmmmm.......

Triumph - Wutang
Fanmail/Rather Unique - Az
Heartburn - Sean Price
Mos Def - umi says
Murs - Yesterday & Today These are probably my favorite right now....

Juicy
It Ain't Hard To Tell
Rather Unique
I Love The Dough

Those are top 4, for #5 I could put Life's A %+@%$, Feelin' It, or Everyday Struggle.

The World is Yours (Classic, I don't have to say anything. Illmatic can be my entire top 5 alone)

TROY (Another classic, I can have this on repeat for hours, such a smooth jazz beat, I first heard this as a kid in NBA live)

Hell On Earth (Front Lines)(Prodigy goes in over a great beat, I like this better than Shook Ones)

B.I.B.L.E (Amazing song, two of my favorite MC's ever GZA and Killah Priest come through with sick lyrics and a deep message)

I against I (If you haven't heard it, go hear it now: brilliant rhymes over a perfectly fitting stoupe beat)

It's gonna change everyday though, too hard to have a solidified top 5.
